Celebrating the launch of new must-read books!

On Tuesday night 3 of the HTHT team popped along to the launch of two books – ‘Fashion and Sustainability: Design for Change’ by Kate Fletcher, and ‘Clouds / Nuages’ by Lucy and Jorge Orta.

It was a lovely warm evening and a pleasure to catch up with Kate Fletcher, Lizzie Harrison (Antiform), Lucy Harvey (Ethical Stylist), Dilys Williams (Centre for Sustainable Fashion) amongst many other familiar faces, whilst enjoying a chilled glass of wine!

The most daring faces of future fashion – including Dr Noki, Christopher Raeburn and Michelle Lowe-Holder – will be leading workshops that encourage participants to customise, redesign, reinvent and reuse clothing rather than bin it. Events are free and open to the public, for entry bring one item of unwanted clothing.
